This is the beginning of a preventable
mishap. City of Salem crews tore out a fire hydrant between my house and
that of my neighbors.It was thought to be disconnected. It wasn't. My
basement was the recipient of a good share of this water. My music studio
is (was) in my basement. This was the scene for nearly 2 hours before
the shutoff was located.
