I tried for days to write this song
but it never would to turn out right
I searched my soul for words to tell you how I feel
and they always sounded trite

and then I thought about how proud I am of you
on your graduation day
We're all so glad you found your way in life

I'm sure that degree could get you a job flipping burgers in no time
Of course there's always the beanery and you could be
whipping up some latte's and some mocha's
Or you might try the grocery store and carry some bags out for folks
