MURPHY'S
LAW
Paradox
of black and white
Hot and cold, day and night
Always find myself somewhere between
Counting blessings in disguise
that otherwise might paralyze
nothing ever turns out like it seems
Cutting through this world like a saw
Raise the ugly head of every flaw
that's Murphy's Law
For
every choice you ever make
there's a better one make no mistake
It's simply out of reach from where you are
Anything that can go wrong
will come to pass before too long
Might as well be wishing on a star
There isn't any need to drop your jaw
the freezing rain will strike at winter's thaw
Can't
believe in what you think you know
Every moment is a brand new show
Can't rely on anything that you ever saw
That's Murphy's Law
Can't
say that I met the man
but he must have messed up every plan
that he started in his wildest dreams
Cause he's become a household name
for finding ways to lose the game
everything was taken to extremes
Always fighting, tooth and nail and claw
Until the day he reached the final straw
That's Murphy's Law
I'd
like to think that I could be
above the law of old Murphy
but much of what he said has come to pass
It's all so unpredictable
this life we try to keep so full
until there's no sand in the hour glass
Maybe it's the fortune of the draw
or an itch you've got to scratch until you're raw
that's Murphy's Law
