Christmas lights are flashing in the puddles in the street
The wind she blows, the rain it falls, I'm turning up the heat
It's cold and dark and wet outside - bright and warm in here
Maybe that's the magic dancing all around this time of year

I try to make it last 365
Cause giving of myself makes me feel even more alive

It's the perfect irony, you get more when you give

I'm blowing out the candles and sending you a wish

We've got the choice of peace and the joy of love
The earth beneath our feet and the Heaven's up above
