I'LL BE HERE

I'm gonna try and make this very clear
even though I might complain you don't need to fear
when you find you need me I'll be here

when I'm feeling blue you make me laugh
tears may come into my eyes looking at your photograph
while you lie napping on a Sunday afternoon

I'll be true, I'm saying this to you and I believe
that I love you and lady that's hard to do
sometimes when I'm really pressed to give

I see the light of love within your eyes
though I know that sometimes we both will wear disguises
still it seems our time together flies

I believe our love can stand the test of time
because there is a timeless dream hiding in my mind
about the kind of life that we can find

The sun is slowly rising, another day
things don't seem to change that much still I have to say
the love we feel inside will show the way

I have tried to make this very clear
even though I'll still complain you don't need to fear
when you find you need me I'll be here
