BLOWING ME AWAY

One summer evening it became apparent
breaking a cocoon from the inside
I believed that somehow I was bound for glory
throwing out the suitcase in my mind

The air is still and heavy
night and day
where is that sea breeze
blowing me away

Sun burning red from the forest fire
A picture from astronomy 101
Music from the past playing on the radio
flying down the freeway, heading home

There's a full moon shining in the window next to me
disbursed by branches of the neighbors cherry tree
Fading from reflections of the passing day
start blowing me away
