GOLDEN MOON

Watching from the window
moon is on the rise
like a golden idol
no way to take the prize
Clouds flying freely
take away the light
golden moon is hiding tonight

Within the current
the turning tide
a roller coaster ride
below the surface
behind the mind
the golden moon will shine

once you find the moment
and you see the golden moon
you'll understand the hold it has on you
only a reflection hypnotizing you
visions of a dream now coming true

Shadows form an image
of a lonely face
or maybe it is laughing
at my chase
can you see the dark side
does it bring you fear
are you superstitious
when the night is clear
