WHAT A DAY

My God what a day
something right out of a play
Paradox all black and white
will I make it through the night
black and white
will I make it through the night

It's amazing what we know
deep inside the soul
So easy, hard to find
unless you really want to know

All grown up and independent
Making your decisions for yourself
From my own experience
The shadows never leave the closet shelf

No matter how it seems
not what you say but what you mean
I will do what I can do
and it all comes down to you

It's your life for the making
Nobody has the right to take that away
It's your fate if you fake it
Along the way
