OF OUR HEARTS

It all sounds like some conspiracy
When I read about the way the world might be
But all the signs I see are pointing that direction
Maybe it's the earths way of saying enough
And getting rid of all that manmade stuff
And purging herself of the human infection

We had plenty of chances to change our ways
But the greed and the power and the money had the final say
Now the world's changed forever like it or not
And we won't have a chance until we stop
Making our decisions with our heads instead of our hearts

America's becoming a welfare state
And we all sacrificed our very fate
To a handful of wealthy people that are running this place
Like a lion left in charge of the zoo
The oil men are controlling you
Until we stop them no one will ever be safe

Until we turn it off the lies will never be gone
