NOT DIVINE

The world's turning at the same old pace
It's just people who are in a race to win
When it seems that everything's fine
somebody gets out of line

In the rush to get ahead
we don't take the time
to realize we're only human
and not divine

We think we're special we think that we're smart
We tell ourselves that we're right from the start
We make decisions every day
that will change our destiny

We're all thinking only of me
Don't give ourselves a chance to see
The big picture and the world we make
too little give and too much take

Just remember we don't know it all
the consequences of our actions always fall
It's illusion that we're in control
but somehow we can't let go
