Another oily beach with every single wave
Another century our technology can't save
When will we realize we've already won the prize
When will we understand
we're living right now in the promised land

should I run or stand and fight
So shameful, we all know better ways
To find some harmony in these passing days

These times they are a changing
Somewhere in the distance
out there in space and time

Joe DiMaggio is gone, now it's Kosovo and Y2K
The New Carrissa ran a ground
and Littleton has funerals every day
Stop living in denial and turn this world around
Take some action for the good
or keep on living in this battleground
