TELEVISION HEAVEN

Preaching the power of God
changing sinners into saints
Television Heaven
Preys behind it's golden gates
Begging for your pledges
to maintain their wealthy states

They gotta practice what they preach
before I'll believe the things they teach
It's far beyond their reach
what they're after
The promises they bring
to our fellow human beings
are far beyond their means to capture
The rapture

Take them all to task
don't you mail your hard earned pay
cut off all supplies
to the hypocritic way
cheap affairs and drugs
another scandal yesterday

Everyday you hear
Gurus and Evangelists
tugging at your ear
offering their brand of bliss
If you send the check
bend on over give a kiss
