INSIDE MY MIND

Time just flies, the days go by
and so much and so little seems to change
Moments pass, I reach for them alas
all I hear is the sound of autumn rain

Pieces of me die with the seasons change
like the trees I leave behind colorful remains
moving with the turning wheels of time
Inside my mind

Life just flows, everybody knows
Still we can't leave behind what we're searching for
Locked inside, upon the shelf we hide
always looking for another way to get some more

Worlds away, other beings play
music that is calling me to leave it all behind
Tame the fire, burning with desire
to capture all the energy in my mind

Parts of me are born with the seasons change
