MIDNIGHT DREAMS

Autumn breezes take me back in time
to the opening of mind
A child's dream becomes a fantasy
that may just set you free

Time will take you on the run
and I don't care what anybody said
Time will give you a run
I've been searching through these days
trying to leave behind the worn out ways

In between the midnight dreams and sunrise
the mind prepares another day
waking turns the silence into singing
as the dreamer fades away

The midnight dreams will set you free
but first you have to recognize the key

All the energy is just involved in motion
still appearing just the same as it was before
feel the presence as your sitting near the ocean
of natures' ghost on the coast
calling out, calling out for more

The foggy dreams fade into the distance
as the planet draws you near
and what remains is just resistance
to the family we have here

In midnight dreams you'll surely see
what is false and what's reality

I thought these dreams were from another world
and I could leave them far behind
but they have just begun to haunt me
partners with the waking mind

And I conclude the dreams I find
are just an ordinary state of mind
